About Cowboys & Outlaws

Our Mission Statement:

A ministry to bring hope to the lost, jailed, imprisoned and homeless. To set every captive heart free, by not only bringing God’s love to them by visiting them in prison, but we also document our time out here on the streets for them all to go with us by reading along, these magnificent testimonies of struggle and victory through Christ available for over a million prisoners across America to read and have access to on their tablets.

LOVE NEVER GIVES UP

You would be surprised the kind of people I meet in a day on the streets. They are not all homeless. I met a waitress walking to work for a double shift - Doing all that she can. I sent a lunch sack with her and she was grateful. I just want to be out here for every opportunity I can find. The unchurched are out here.

But we must never forget -

 WE ARE THE CHURCH

Greg was once homeless and addicted to drugs, but he cried out to God with a sincere heart and He healed him. Greg came up to me at church asking how to help. God shined a light on him that day and I knew in my spirit he was going to give it all he’s got. God's never wrong. I listen to God. And well…look at him. Cowboys & Outlaws loves Greg. He spends all day out here loving on the lost.

Here he is again just doing a well check and leaving her something to eat. We also all carry Narcan on us at all times which is used to save their life if they’ve overdosed.

I always ask them their name. I want to know them all. And I want them to know my name. I love them and I’ll spend the rest of my life making the unknown KNOWN. Everybody meet Charles ❤️

LOVE WILL CHASE YOU DOWN....

Our Story in Pictures: Cowboys and Outlaws Journey to make a difference on the streets

Our homeless friend kicked off our street ministry with a gospel song. Made me smile and cry at the same time. He is always the first one to come up to us every time we come out to minister. So today I asked him to sing for us. And oh how he sang.

Tracey Smith pictured with this sweet soul

She was sleeping on the street. Tony woke her up and asked her to come to church and get some food in her belly

But she was barefoot with no shoes. Brother Tony went and got some shoes and put them on her feet.

Living In His Promises

Met a blind man named Nolan today. They saw him sitting there on the street and brought him to "outside" church. He wouldn't have been able to find his way without them. Nolan gave his life to Christ today. He cried all day. He was overcome and so were we. Thank you God.

We kept Nolan for a while as the men ministered to him, gave him food, new clothes and a tent.

We kept Nolan for a while as the men ministered to him, gave him food, new clothes and a tent. We all need to know we aren't invisible. That we are seen. That we are loved. Thats our mission to "the least of these." Leaving no one behind. Leaving no one without Hope.

Visiting the tent camps. Praying with the homeless.

Our Team of Lost Seekers

Met between and alley and an old parking lot to pray before we went out to minister on the streets of E. Lancaster Fort Worth.

What a day!

I felt the light of heaven shine down on us today

And the light of life shined in their darkness....

The look on his face says it all. He was feeling invisible and lonely till we rolled up (see next photo)

We were not born to be captives or live our lives in chains. We were born to be free. Thank you God for sending out messengers of hope.

My buddy had an idea to keep an eye on us in the sky with his hunting drone. When I saw the footage, I got teary eyed. It sure looks different from above. I felt the love of God and his watchful gaze on us.

We keep Kay real close. She bakes homemade pies for our volunteers. She is our "Pie Minister" and keeps us from growing faint in our walk with her famous pies.

Arlo Bowen - A dad to us all. He is known for fathering many men and women spiritually throughout the years from jail chaplain to church leader. WE LOVE ARLO.
